I’m glad someone pointed out the similarity now, as I haven’t seen that movie, and I might have eventually watched it at some point in the future and thought “Those bastards, they’re totally ripping off Dax webcomic, and not even giving any credit or anything!”
I once did an “homage” to someone else’s term paper in school, but the teacher kept using words like “cheating” and “plagiarism”. She just didn’t understand my artistic expression.

Listen here, sonny: When I was in school we didn’t have no fancy stinkin’ interweb sites to trash our teachers on when they ticked us off! We’d just scrawl crude messages about them on the bathroom wall, just like our grandpappy did, and his grandpappy before him! That’s some “social media” for ya! Hmmph! Kids these days….

I never trusted bathroom scrawl reviews. I figured only the most irate students would bother to write them.

Even if there was a good review, you wouldn’t believe it – you’d just figure it was one of those companies folks pay to go around inflating their bathroom scrawl-rating with fake positive reviews. Some people just have no sense of ethics. It ruins the value of the system for everyone.

You can make good money if you have no scruples and don’t mind questionable bathrooms.

I really hate it when your engine gets replaced by a gate to Hell.
Usually it’s right after some men show up offering hellgate protection that I politely decline. The first time I thought it was a coincidence, but now I’m beginning to wonder…
Event Horizon was a damn good movie 🙂
I’m a huge fan. I guess that’s obvious though 😀

They’d just be giving us an homage like we do for so very many things.

It’s happened to me twice now! >:|
And always the day after the warranty on the engine runs out. Typical.

I love the Event Horizon homage here. Too bad this isn’t EVE online. I’d have manufactured these guys a good ship.
Good ships are definitely hard to come by out here in the Daxverse!
