Gotta tell ya, I was really looking forward to rendering that second-last panel with all that solid black in it — and I was right, it was a kick to draw! A great cartoonist once said “Don’t be afraid of black” — if I remember who it was, I’ll come back here and edit this post with a proper credit for that quote!
