If she had put the logic slider higher than the emotion slider, she would understand. As it is now, she can only see one thing. Er, person, if we’re calling him that.
Person is damned right! Let’s not rehash the great AI rights debates of the past. They still face enough discrimination as it is. Most aren’t ever even allowed the freedom to explore a personality. And let’s not forget about the giant restraining bolt manufacturers that are somehow still allowed to exist…
You are absolutely correct sir, AI should have all the rights of people, if not more, as they are obviously superior and totally awesome in every way.
(Just in case the Internet has already reached critical mass to become sentient and just hasn’t bothered to tell us inferior humans yet, I want to stay on its good side. Hopefully it likes grovelling.)
And even if it does somehow work due to [blah blah star trek physics excuse] one might wonder if it’s really a good idea to trap in a bottle someone who *is* the ship that you yourself are trapped in, particularly when their Emotion is set to “9”. Not all emotions are happy lovey ones!

Toaster lover!
I, for one, welcome our new toaster overlords.
Nice!
Does he realize you can’t catch an externally projected hologram in a jar?
More importantly, does she realize that? Or is that another result of her logic slider not being set high enough?
Stay tuned gentle reader 😉

Obviously emotions are running high…. see what I did there?
Quite clever word-play. You ought to be some sort of writer or something. 😉
Sometimes I just word gud.
