But that’s just the same plan that WAR-rior already suggested – you can’t expect him to fill in every little tiny detail for you!
That’s why they’re partners. RK4K understands the nuances of his plans.
I’m just glad that he spent the extra few bucks to get the droid assistant with the speech synthesizer rather than one that just goes beedly-bee-beep-boop and you need a 2nd droid to tell you what it’s saying, because that would just be silly. 😉
I mean it might be the frugal choice, but that doesn’t make it a good one. Just buy your damned droids a voice synthesizer. Really, it’s just the right choice.
Is it bad I imagine RK4K with the voice of C-3P0, or Larry 3000? (Kudos to those who gets the reference to the latter.)
Those are fine head voices for RK4K, but I hear him a bit more like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1CqpGfWrmc4
Jess went with the gold ala C3PO. I told him he was in the right fictional universe 😉
I thought he would sound like Skeets, Booster Gold’s sidekick in DCAU. I don’t know why I thought that, just because they’re both hovering gold colored robot sidekicks who act as the brains of the team for their loud, obnoxious, less intelligent costumed partner. Other than that, there’s hardly any similarity. 😉
Has Skeets been in something animated? I’ve only seen it in the comics and have no idea what it would actually sound like.
DC Animated Universe version example here – I can’t believe I’ve actually seen something you haven’t! I am shocked and appalled! 😮
I think I messed that link up somehow, let’s try again:
Billy West does Skeets’s animated voice – maybe you can get him to to do RK4K for the Animated version of Dax? Is that in the budget?
I was never a huge DC guy, so I’ve skipped a lot of their animated works.
For DC, if I had to pick one or the other, I’d skip their live-action stuff and watch the animated.
Lol, ain’t that the truth.
