I wonder, is removing a V.I. like trying to delete System32, or can they be conveniently manhandled and shoved in the Rubbish Bin like other non-essentials?
That would pretty much depend on the level of integration and how advanced the VI was. A very basic VI could just be thrown out ala the bin. A more sophisticated one is in charge of many more functions and must be more closely tied to the ship. They can be removed, but it’s not a quick and easy thing.
Gazpacho soup!
Just looked like a swirly to me, but I guess I could see the resemblance there.
He’s gone to plaid!
Didn’t even need to build up speed. If the FTL goes out they might could plug him in….
You stole my comment…

Yay, the fun VI is back. I am guessing Dimmer was reassigned to the virtual equivalent of latrine duty.
Someone has to keep those toilet cleaning nanobots in line!
I was sure that Natalie was going to be responsible for bringing Sally back (this is her comic after all).
She’s skilled, but not that skilled. Scooter has some very specialized experience that was very helpful in this endeavor.
