Scooter is 100% inspired by Lewis from Revenge of the Nerds. I love that movie!
Eh, yeah, inspired by … but I spent a couple days sketching him over and over until he evolved into what we used the first time around. He then went through a few more evolutions during “Questing”. His Lewisness is probably still evident, but I like to think he’s his own thing now. Also I love Muppets.
