I see my manga influence showing on this page. For one, the diagonal “view-from-above” in the second-last panel is a manga staple. But also, manga storylines [well, many of the ones that I enjoy, at least] often follow the story through every step of the way, and don’t gloss over mundane details. When the “action high point” of a page is your characters browsing through stacks of files, well, that’s pretty mundane. It’s also pretty manga, I think…
