It’s a long way off, but when we finally get into Chapter 5 we dig into Dax’s youth and when he decided to become a Space Merc. But yeah … you’ve got the right idea.
Psychologically, I’d think Dax wasn’t what his father expected. And he went off to become a space merc to prove to his father that he was a manly man, but when reality he’s a big softy. It’s pretty obvious that Dax isn’t a the dictionary definition of a manly man. He’s probably spent his entire life in his dad’s shadow.
Interesting analysis. Well, chapter 5 is on target for around next Fall. So, just a bit under a year and we’ll get into some of that. (Seriously, it’s all written, we’ve just got to work up to it.)
Set phasers on slush!
This is
probablyone of my favorite comments ever.O_o;; His gun can shoot snowballs? XD
Perhaps in the hands of a talented marksman? 😉
Wow I’ve thought it before, but Dax’s dad is a total jerk. Let me guess, he has always been disappointed in Dax?
